This story begins on Tuesday September 22. I watched this deer one morning from a quarter
mile or so for a couple hours. I could tell he was spending most of his time in one area. My plan
was to come back that afternoon to hunt a stand the deer walked by, but he beat me there. I settled
for a waterway close by. At 7pm the deer was at 33 yards, I drew my bow and let an arrow fly. I
used my 40 yard pin and took some hair off the deers back. MISS!

Friday October 2 was the next time I layed eyes on the buck....same spot, 7:30 am.   I watched
what trail he went down to bed for the afternoon, and so the planning starts. I had a stand close to
that trail that I had not been in for a 3 years, but it was worth a try. I was there by 3:30 cutting
shooting lanes, luckily there was a 30 Mph wind to block my noise. I ranged the trail at 33 yards, a
               distance I know too well.

After seeing a few does, the buck apeared below me and across the creek.  I grunted several
times and used the snort weeze to bring the buck my way. He crossed the creek, came up the trail
at 33 yards, through the bean field and in front of the stand. After a double lung shot at 21 yards,
the buck was down. He was a 4 1/2 year old deer which I have two years of sheds to. The 33 Buck
               green scored 150 7/8 as a 10 point.
